I have been to this restaurant a few times now and have never been disappointed. Certainly one of the best restaurants on the eastern side of the Maggia Delta. This restaurant impresses with the fact that it serves dishes and drinks of outstanding quality, without any frills. That means it is not a trendy place with fusion kitchen, but simply excellent food with good wine at reasonable prices, where you can easily go with groups.

An excellent table. At Easter, the kid, and the butler, a nice old gentleman who made every effort in French, who comes back to us "you will take a little bit?" while we had already struggled to overcome the first service. What a great place, and what a setting, with these oak barrels, these bottles. On three days in Locarno, seduced, we came two nights in a row. To do absolutely for who visits the beautiful city of Locarno.

Lovely, fresh food in a calm and beautiful setting. I came here for dinner as it was close to my hotel, decided to go for a lunch too. They have a daily menu and do a fair price for starter and main, which were delicious. I had octopus carpacio and a fish soup, both yummy. The lake is super close, even if the weather turns, one can have an invigorating walk right after their meal at La Bottega del Vino. Would definitely recommend!

Very neat, cozy but also modern furnished Restautant in Locarno. The service was very prompt, helpful and friendly and the food was wonderful. The variety of food is rich and original (I was pleasantly surprised by the stewed veal cheeks). But of course the chef also masters the standards like entrecote. We recommend. An all-round successful evening.

My wife and I had an excellent dish for supper, the restaurant has a grey wine selection. We took the house wine which was great.

Excellent wine suggestions, wonderful food, service is great. We went so far twice, had the entrecôte with fries, kind of a signature dish, and second time tried pasta, which was like Italian home made. We will be more often there for sure!!!

The Bottega del Vino serves the Delea brand. Incredibly situated and only a few steps away from various parking facilities, you can enjoy superbly prepared, seasonal specialties in a special atmosphere. The decor is probably unique to the theme of wine. The long tables in the back invite you to communicate. The walls, which are filled with countless wine treats, make the heart of wine lovers beat faster. The ceiling paneling from Fassdauben of used oak barrels contributes to the cozy atmosphere. Not to be forgotten is the professional service, which gives every visitor full attention.

We enjoyed a truffle beef tartare that was truly exceptional. The service was impeccable with very friendly waiters and this in a beautiful setting.

This restaurant is different from others. It only offers a few small tables. In the back there are two huge tables where you can sit. It's somehow linked with the wine maker Delea. So it offers the full range of their wine, among other wines from Ticino. We both had the entrecote with café de Paris. It was tender and made to the point, rare-medium. Unfortunately it remains on very hot heating plates and continue to cook, so the second half of the meat was well done. Friendly staff.

Great steaks, delicious deserts and a huge selection of local vines. Very friendly and helpful staff, also in German. Not exactly cheap but not overpriced either for this area.
